As with the general public, tickets for most Beacon Theatre events are available the first day of sale to individuals with disabilities via Ticketmaster phones, Ticketmaster.com, and Beacon Theatre's Disabled Services department. Tickets for concerts are not available for sale at the Beacon Theatre Box Office on the first day of sale. After the first day of sale, remaining concert tickets will be available at the Beacon Theatre Box Office, in addition to Ticketmaster phones, Ticketmaster.com, and Beacon Theatre Disabled Services. If the first day of a ticket sale is on a weekend or holiday, Beacon Theatre's Disabled Services department will sell tickets on the following business day. Please be advised that sale dates are subject to change.

Disabled seating is reserved for the exclusive use of disabled patrons and their guests and the purchase or use of these seating locations by non-disabled individuals is strictly prohibited and can result in ejection and/or forfeiture of ticket price. If the disabled individual cannot attend an event for which he/she has purchased tickets, please call the Disabled Services Department prior to the event taking place for further instructions.

Please note that unsold ADA wheelchair and transfer ticket locations are released to the general public for sale at some point. These tickets will read "ADULT" on the top and our theatre seat will remain in place. When an ADA ticket is sold to a wheelchair user who will remain in his/her own wheelchair, the ticket will read "WHEELCHAIR" at the top, and our theatre seat will be removed. When an ADA ticket is sold to a wheelchair user who will transfer from his/her wheelchair to an aisle seat, the ticket will read "TRANSFER" and our theatre seat will remain in place.

Seat Types and Locations

Beacon Theatre's disabled seat locations are divided into two designated categories: Wheelchair and Aisle Transfer and each seat type has companion seating. Patrons may choose their seat type, based on disability, ticket price, and seat availability. For example, a patron using a wheelchair may chose to transfer to an aisle seat or remain in his/her wheelchair.

Wheelchair seating is available in the Orchestra only. Aisle Transfer seating is available in the Orchestra, Loge, Lower Balcony and Upper Balcony. There are no elevators in the Beacon Theatre, which was opened in 1928.

Payment

We accept AMERICAN EXPRESS, MasterCard, Visa and Discover. We do not accept personal checks. Additionally, in limited circumstances, the Beacon Theatre will accept US Postal Money Orders for orders placed with the Disabled Services Department.

Please make money orders payable to "Beacon Theatre" and print your name, address and confirmation number on the money order. Send payment to our mailing address:

Beacon Theatre
4 Penn Plaza, 2nd Floor
New York, NY 10001
ATTN: Disabled Services.

Payment Methods

Our office must receive money orders within five (5) business days of the order date or your request will be automatically cancelled. Please be aware that we are not responsible for lost, stolen or misdirected mail. We encourage you to call our office to confirm the receipt of your payment.

Refunds/Exchanges

There are no refunds or exchanges and all sales are final. We realize that a situation may arise that would prohibit a disabled patron from attending an event for which tickets have already been purchased. If you are unable to attend an event, please call, e-mail disabledservices@thegarden.com or fax us prior to the event taking place. Once your situation has been reviewed, we will make a determination, on a case-by-case basis, as to how to handle the transaction.

Lost/Stolen Tickets

In the event that tickets are lost or stolen, please contact Beacon Theatre's Disabled Services department with your ticket confirmation number and the name, date, and time of the show. Upon verification, a Lost Ticket Voucher (LTV) will be arranged. LTV's must be picked up by the disabled person with valid identification, no earlier than two (2) hours before event time, on the day of the show at the Beacon Theatre Box Office. The original barcoded tickets will not be honored.

Group Sales

Groups that consist of 10 or more individuals may contact Group Sales directly during normal business hours at 212.465.6100. To better assist you, please inform the representative of the number of disabled individuals in your group and of any special accommodations they may need.

Wheelchair locations are for a non-transferable wheelchair patron - a guest who will remain in their own wheelchair. There will be an empty space for the wheelchair patron and a seat for his/her guest. If a patron arrives with these tickets and they are not using their own wheelchair, the guests will be subject to one of the following, based on Beacon Theatre's discretion: the guest will immediately pay the full price of the currently discounted wheelchair location ticket(s) or be subject to ejection from the building and forfeiture of the ticket price.
